Our Story
We’re Darren and Pauline Harris, a husband-and-wife team based in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Our journey has brought together life experience, professional knowledge and a shared belief that property can be about so much more than making money.
For us, property has the potential to create opportunities for investors and for families who simply want somewhere safe and secure to call home.
Our aim is to give investors the opportunity to achieve strong, reliable returns while using our business to help provide families with quality homes and the stability that comes with them.
We have always had an interest in property. Darren has spent nearly 40 years in the building trade, in his early years he worked as a builder. For the past 23+ years, he has worked at a senior level managing costs, contracts, and delivery across major construction schemes, with a career portfolio exceeding £1 billion in project value. His expertise ensures every refurbishment is carefully planned, tightly controlled, and commercially sound from start to finish.
But the reason this matters so much to us is deeply personal.
Why It Matters To Pauline
Eleven years ago, Pauline experienced something that changed the way she viewed the importance of having a home.
As a young mother, she found herself homeless with her child and had nowhere of her own to go. Her brother and sister-in-law opened their home to her, and for a period of time, three adults and five children lived together in a three-bedroom house.
It was crowded. It was stressful. It wasn't an easy situation.
But it provided something incredibly important; safety, family and somewhere to stay while Pauline worked towards rebuilding her life.
Then someone gave her an opportunity that changed everything.
A local landlord was prepared to look beyond Pauline's circumstances.
Despite her having no income other than benefits and no credit history, they chose to trust her with a tenancy in a nearby property.
That decision gave Pauline something that went far beyond having four walls around her.
It gave her stability.
It gave her independence.
It gave her dignity.
And most importantly, it gave her the foundation she needed to move forward.
Pauline has never forgotten the person who gave her that opportunity.
